English Pub Night, featuring libations, refreshments and music in the British tradition. With Paul Woodiel (fiddle), Steve Gibb (guitar), Eliot Bailen (cello and guitar) and Susan Rotholz (flute and vocals). $30 per person; call SCE for reservations (advance payment necessary to guarantee reservations).

Concert 8:00 PM. With Susan Rotholz (flute), Eliot Bailen (cello), Cantor Rebecca Garfein (mezzo-soprano) and Julia Bailen (child soprano). Featuring Mr. Bailen’s original composition “Perhaps a Butterfly”, song selections for mezzo soprano, child soprano, flute, piccolo, and String Trio, based on poems by the children of Terezin 1942-1944. $25 per person ($20 for JCC members); call SCE for reservations.

SCE participates in the Creative Art Festival sponsored by Friends of Harrybrooke Park

Songwriting and musical theater camp with SCE Artistic Director Eliot Bailen, Pawling HS drama teacher Stacy Dumont and The Bailen Brothers Band. Open to all students aged 10-15 from Pawling, Sherman and elsewhere. Contact SCE for registration information.

Celebrate summer with an outdoor concert by The Bailen Brothers Band, featuring original songs and popular covers by this up-and-coming pop/rock band led by David and Daniel Bailen. Great entertainment for teens as well as their families.

Open-air concert of Civil War-era music at the Historical Society's Cobbler Shop Field, in conjunction with the Sherman Library and the regional One Book One Lake community reading initiative. Bring a picnic and enjoy an old-fashioned family outing. With Paul Woodiel (fiddle/violin), Rob Brereton (dulcimer), Susan Rotholz (flute and vocals) and Eliot Bailen (cello and guitar).

Sherman Chamber Ensemble Annual Meeting – time TBA.  Open to all members who have made a monetary contribution during the previous 12 months.  Election of officers and other business.

SCE musicians collaborate with dancers from FineLine Theatre Arts on acontribution to the annual downtown arts festival.

Free Family Matinees - “Jazzing Up the Classics" with Ted Rosenthal (piano), Susan Rotholz (flute), Eliot Bailen (cello) and friends.

Join the choir of St,. Andrew's Church, talented local soloists and musicians from the Sherman Chamber Ensemble for a sing-in of the Christmas section of Handel's beloved oratorio. Bring your own score, or copies will be available for use or purchase at the door.

Admission $20 at the door to benefit the St. Andrew's Music Fund - no reservations required.
